A Spoon Full Of Sugar, and Cupcake Craft Challenges.

Good Evening,
Well, i have enjoyed my afternoon of craft. I am permently in my bedroom... ahh well, at least i'm not stuck in front of a playstation or making chaos on the streets lol! :O)
Anyway, onto the card. I am entering this into the: A Spoonfull Of Sugar Challenge, this week the theme is summer, and Cupcake Craft Challenge who's theme is also summer.
I think my card is quite summery, i've used some delish K+Company double sided papers full of my favourite colour combo: blue, green, cream and pink!
The adorable little fairy is Pink cat Studio image which i recieved from the lovely Sem, which i've watercoloured with whispers. I also added a little gem to the flower on her wand.

Here's a Close-Up:

Do you like my flowers... i created them with white peel-offs which i stuck onto patterned cardstock and cut out, i then added centers with buttons and card candy gems.

Paper and cardstock: K+Company, and PM
Image: Lilly from Pink Cat Studio
Embellishments: Doodle-Bug rub-ons, ( i'm so addicted lol) Anita's ribbon, Craftwork Cards Card Candy, and the rest is froms stah.

Card Number 2:

Do you like?
This has got to be the best card i've ever made... i'm actually really pleased with myself.
I've used the sweet little Sugar Nellie iamge which a coloured with whispers and watercolour pencils.
I've added more peel-off flowers again, they're so easy to make, and save me a lot of money compared to my expensive petallo fabric flowers lol!
I distressed the paper with ancient page ink too, i really love the effect this gives.

Paper and card: Basic Grey and Doodle-Bug
Image: Sugar Nellie
Embellishments: Handmade flowers, buttons ad gems from stash.

Thanks for visiting me, please leave acomment if you have time... i loev reading them.
I'm off to the High School tomorrow and Thursday, (as a tester, ready for Semptember) so they're probably be no more cards until Friday latest.

I'm Back.

Hi Everyone... i'm back lol, and i had a great shopping spree.

I am entering: Whiff Of Joy for the first time... they have a fab sketch, i really loved it... but i replaced the flower with a sentiment, hope this still counts. :O) And also One Stop Craft Challenge. Rainy Day

Happy Friday... or should i say Rainy Friday, it's tipping it down! :O)
I made a few things last night, and i thought i'd share it with everyone. I've done really well with my blogging this week, a post nearly everyday!
I'm really exciting for tommorrow too, i'm going to them Demo at Ashmoore Park to see Lyndsey. I hope to stock up my stash, and hopefully, i'll have some cards mafde by Sunday!
My first card was an order from my nan... a dreaded Wedding Card! Ahh! :O)
Now as most people now... i HATE wedding cards, i never have any stamps to use. I've decided to purchase some stamps from the Whiff Of Joy new collection: Womens Delight this weekend.
I'm entering this card into:
Crafty Monkeys: Anything Goes
And Stamp Something: Which is to use at least 3 different embellishments on your card.
I have used, gems, lace and the cake topper which has beads and a rose on it.

My second creation is for The Just Magnolia monthly challenge: Alter a container.
I know my cello- bag isn't exactly a container, but i've made it to hold some images.

I have used a little Tilda which i recieved in a swap, coloured with whispers, The Paperhouse Ribbon, and a PM flower

So, i hope you liked my two creations, any comments are greatly appreciated.

Little William

Hello everyone,
What a beautiful day.... i don't know about the rest of you, but the sun is beaming down on us here in the South Staffs!
I made this card for my liitle friend William. I am invited to his 2nd birthday party in a few weeks time, so i thought i'd make him an extra special card.
I was so stuck to begin with... no stamps, no images, i had nothing really sutible. Until i came acroos the FF decoupage i won in Sarahs candy. Now as i've said before, i'm not a huge fan of decoupage... but i'm really pleased with this card, and i think William will like it too! :O)

A Close-Up:

I didn't know it, but my card fits into 2 challanges: Cute Card Thursday, which is to use wheels on your project, and ABC which is two tone. 2 colours.( not including, white, skin, ect).
I have chose, grey and red. I think this is a really nice combonation after looking at it again, and i will definatly use it on another male card.
I've just started to ink my edges more too, i apply some ink around the ede, and then drag it to the centre with a sponge. There is a great tutorial on how to this on Just Magnolia with distress inks by the lovely Kim :O)
The paper was free with the FF pack, and the cardstock is PM. The circles were handcut by me, ( :O) and i've added a little card candy. Thew sentiment is from a CCSR stamp set, and the gems are from stash. I have made the name with doodle- bug rub-ons.

Thanks for looking, i had a great response to my last set of cards!

3 cards 7 challenges! :O)

Good Evening,
Hope your all well. I've managed to enter some challenges, as there's some great sketches around at the moment.
My first card is for:
ABC- Summer
Creative Card Crew- Whatever The Weather
Colour Create- i have chose, Strawberry, Rasberry and Kiwi, but i haven't used the optinal extra of fruits... sorry! :O)
Mojo Monday- They have a fabby sketch... really easy!

* Image: The Greeting Farm*
* Sentiment: Doodle-Bug Rub-On's*
* Embellies: Gems and peel-off from stash *
* Tools: Foam pads, double-sided tape, MSBP, Flower Punch*

I have used my yummy Smirk papers, ( i just love all the glitter) and my gorgeous new Anya stamp.
I have decoupaged the image slightly with just one layer. ( Debby inspired me to do this lol.)

Here's a little close-up so you can see it better:

I am in love with her shades... i coloured them witha sparkly gel pen and glossed... so now they really do look like glass.
Every thing is extremely sparkly.... i wish i had a better camera, then you'd be able to see the detail i added with my sakuras.

Card Number 2

* Paper: Basic Grey*
* Image: Sugar Nellie from Lyndsey, and flowers from the CCSR Doodles set*
* Ebelliies: Card Candy and gems from stash*
* Ink: Ancient Page*
* Tools: Cotten wool ball, ( inking and distressing ) foam pads, double sided tape.

More challenges:
Sketch and stash, and Secret Crafter with a colour scheme of Pink and Green... my favourite!
I tried to improve my colouring in this card... i blended different shades of green, and focused where the light was coming from and where i needed to hilight the hair.
Hope this looks O.K ! :o)

Final Card (Sorry to bore you! :O)

* Paper and cardstock- PM
* Image- Pink Petticoat
* Embellies- gems from stash
* Tools- foam pads, and flower punch

For my final card, i have used the fab sketch over at Friday Sketchers... it's so simple, and just what i needed for my order.
As soon as i saw this image, which i recieved in a swap from Sem, i knew what colour combo i would use... chocolate and pink!! Mmm.... yummy!
This little lady looks so safisticated drinking her coffee! :O)

I hope you enjoyed my unbelievably long post lol!

Awards and The Next Level.

Well time for school, but i thought i'd just show you these fabulous awards two wonderful ladies have give me. Thankyou so much for your kindness True, Elizabeth, and Avril.

Please use the link and check out their fabby blogs.

This Butterfly award is from Elizabeth:

Now i think i have to pass it onto three people so...

Firstly i think i'll pick Joey. I think she is so creative and i love her simple style... her colourwork is beautiful and i hope to make cards like cards like her someday.

Kim Piggot. Kims cards are stunning and she is a real inspiration.

Finally Ann. I have only just found Anns blog with a link from The Next Level, and her cards are amazing, she takes so much time to layer her images and her finished creations are beautiful.

Now onto my Lemonade award from the lovely Avril,

Well i don't know how many people to pass this onto so i'll take a guess at five:

And last but not least...
The Bearly Cute Blog Award, from True. Thankyou... x

Now i can only pass this onto one person,

And that's Lyndsey.

Thanks everyone,

And i'm sorry that i couldn't give you all an award.

I will post my GDT card for The Next Level whan i come back from school.

A Card And My Craft Space.

Hello, hope you're enjoying the fabulous weather (Lol, if you enjoy the rain and thunder!)

I have made a card following no challenges today, as my order was simple, and i figured that not many sketchs would be simple!

So here goes:

PM cardstock

PM embellie

Gems from stash

Doodle-bug rub-ons.

And just for the fun of it...

My Crafty Space situated in my Bedroom.

I am sure you can notice a few cards, by beloved whispers and a cutting mat. There is also a large mirror, reflecting every thing behind it as you can probably guess by the photo

Here is a different angled view. There are draw spaces underneath... but a didn;t want to bore you. Can you see my ipod and docking station? Well, i have to listen to mucsic whilst i make things!

Thanks for looking,
