A Spoon Full Of Sugar, and Cupcake Craft Challenges.

Good Evening,
Well, i have enjoyed my afternoon of craft. I am permently in my bedroom... ahh well, at least i'm not stuck in front of a playstation or making chaos on the streets lol! :O)
Anyway, onto the card. I am entering this into the: A Spoonfull Of Sugar Challenge, this week the theme is summer, and Cupcake Craft Challenge who's theme is also summer.
I think my card is quite summery, i've used some delish K+Company double sided papers full of my favourite colour combo: blue, green, cream and pink!
The adorable little fairy is Pink cat Studio image which i recieved from the lovely Sem, which i've watercoloured with whispers. I also added a little gem to the flower on her wand.

Here's a Close-Up:

Do you like my flowers... i created them with white peel-offs which i stuck onto patterned cardstock and cut out, i then added centers with buttons and card candy gems.

Materials:
Paper and cardstock: K+Company, and PM
Image: Lilly from Pink Cat Studio
Embellishments: Doodle-Bug rub-ons, ( i'm so addicted lol) Anita's ribbon, Craftwork Cards Card Candy, and the rest is froms stah.

Card Number 2:

Do you like?
This has got to be the best card i've ever made... i'm actually really pleased with myself.
I've used the sweet little Sugar Nellie iamge which a coloured with whispers and watercolour pencils.
I've added more peel-off flowers again, they're so easy to make, and save me a lot of money compared to my expensive petallo fabric flowers lol!
I distressed the paper with ancient page ink too, i really love the effect this gives.

Materials:
Paper and card: Basic Grey and Doodle-Bug
Image: Sugar Nellie
Embellishments: Handmade flowers, buttons ad gems from stash.

Thanks for visiting me, please leave acomment if you have time... i loev reading them.
I'm off to the High School tomorrow and Thursday, (as a tester, ready for Semptember) so they're probably be no more cards until Friday latest.

Rainy Day

Happy Friday... or should i say Rainy Friday, it's tipping it down! :O)
I made a few things last night, and i thought i'd share it with everyone. I've done really well with my blogging this week, a post nearly everyday!
I'm really exciting for tommorrow too, i'm going to them Demo at Ashmoore Park to see Lyndsey. I hope to stock up my stash, and hopefully, i'll have some cards mafde by Sunday!
My first card was an order from my nan... a dreaded Wedding Card! Ahh! :O)
Now as most people now... i HATE wedding cards, i never have any stamps to use. I've decided to purchase some stamps from the Whiff Of Joy new collection: Womens Delight this weekend.
I'm entering this card into:
Crafty Monkeys: Anything Goes
And Stamp Something: Which is to use at least 3 different embellishments on your card.
I have used, gems, lace and the cake topper which has beads and a rose on it.

My second creation is for The Just Magnolia monthly challenge: Alter a container.
I know my cello- bag isn't exactly a container, but i've made it to hold some images.

I have used a little Tilda which i recieved in a swap, coloured with whispers, The Paperhouse Ribbon, and a PM flower

So, i hope you liked my two creations, any comments are greatly appreciated.

Little William

Hello everyone,
What a beautiful day.... i don't know about the rest of you, but the sun is beaming down on us here in the South Staffs!
I made this card for my liitle friend William. I am invited to his 2nd birthday party in a few weeks time, so i thought i'd make him an extra special card.
I was so stuck to begin with... no stamps, no images, i had nothing really sutible. Until i came acroos the FF decoupage i won in Sarahs candy. Now as i've said before, i'm not a huge fan of decoupage... but i'm really pleased with this card, and i think William will like it too! :O)

A Close-Up:

I didn't know it, but my card fits into 2 challanges: Cute Card Thursday, which is to use wheels on your project, and ABC which is two tone. 2 colours.( not including, white, skin, ect).
I have chose, grey and red. I think this is a really nice combonation after looking at it again, and i will definatly use it on another male card.
I've just started to ink my edges more too, i apply some ink around the ede, and then drag it to the centre with a sponge. There is a great tutorial on how to this on Just Magnolia with distress inks by the lovely Kim :O)
The paper was free with the FF pack, and the cardstock is PM. The circles were handcut by me, ( :O) and i've added a little card candy. Thew sentiment is from a CCSR stamp set, and the gems are from stash. I have made the name with doodle- bug rub-ons.

Thanks for looking, i had a great response to my last set of cards!

I have used my yummy Smirk papers, ( i just love all the glitter) and my gorgeous new Anya stamp.
I have decoupaged the image slightly with just one layer. ( Debby inspired me to do this lol.)

Here's a little close-up so you can see it better:

I am in love with her shades... i coloured them witha sparkly gel pen and glossed... so now they really do look like glass.
Every thing is extremely sparkly.... i wish i had a better camera, then you'd be able to see the detail i added with my sakuras.
