Gems and buttons from stash.

This is another piucture with the front oblong down, sso you can see the image.

2 Cards.

Finally....
My wrist is feeling much better, the bruises have started to show, but i was still able to make some cards.
The first was one i made yesterday. Now i know it's a crimbo card, but after 3 hours of Early Bird Christmas Crafting on QVC, i was really in the mood.
So i dug out my christmas stamps! I actually have 4: 2 Rachel Ann Miller, 1 Penny Black and a magnolia ( Tilda and Edwin skating on ice.)
But i just had to use the little mouse... he was calling.

Materials:

Rachel Ann Miller stamp watercoloured with whisper pens.
pencils.
DCWV and PM papers.
Flower punch and PM brads.
MSBP
Anita's everyday organza ribbon.

The inside was just scraps from the front, a sentiment, and another flower.

************************************************************************************
Card Number 2

This was made for an order, ( i think i told you about it in a earlier post.) and i had no idea what to do as i have no wedding stamps.
So i went to Hobby Craft today, and purchased a pack of beautiful handmade stickers.
I really love them... the detail is fantastic.

Close Up.

Materials:

PM papers.
MSBP
3d handmade embellishments.
Sentiment printed of the computer.
Flatbacked gems and flower peeloffs.

Well i hope you like.

I'm Back!!!!!

Well i'm back.
I haven't been around as i have been on holiday in Demark.
It was a aschool trip and i travelled on a fery across the North Sea.
The journey was 23 hours altogether... so i'mn eguasted.
On the way back i shut my wrist in one of the heavy doors on the ferry leading onto the deck
The nurse thought i'd broken it...but when i saw the doctor and had an x-ray, he told me it was only a sprain and soft tissue bruising.

In conclusion. i won't be able to make any more cards for a while.
I have only just managed to bloghop with my left hand!

Before i go i have recieved this award from my lovely friend Georgia.
Please take a look at her blog- her cards are gorgeous!

Thanks so much for thinking of me.

I am going to pass this on to:

Bev, Amanda, Jacqui, Tara and Sem.

Simple Acceptance.

The Inside:

I have had an order yesterday for a Wedding Acceptance.
I don't have any stamps or images for a Wedding... so i was a bit stuck..
( I will also have to make a wedding card so ifr any one has any ideas or can recommend any products i would be extremely grateful. )
I thought i should keep it quite simple, and use my K+Co papers.
I love all the blues, greens and pinks, so i combinec them witha sentiment from the computer, and a few flowers.
Gems, feather and MSBP just finished it off.
I am quite happy with it, but the wedding card must be much more elegant!
Well i need my sleep.
Thanks for stopping by.. all comments welcome! :O)

Little bit vintage.

Hi everyone.
Well after a day of studying and crafting! he he. :O)
I thought i'd show you a card.
No Challenges...
It was an order for a 71 year old... so i knew i had to use my Sarah Kay Stamp.
Don't you just love the little swirl?
I bourght it from Ashmoore park yesterday.
It's one of those double PM sets reduced to 99p!!
I coloured the leaves with a silver sakura pen, and added a few PM gems.
I have used my new MSBP! :O)
I can't believe i've lived without it before!!
The lettering is doodle-bug rubons, and the flower inside is PM with a BG brad,
Papers are also BG.
Well i've made quite a few cards but i'll save them for tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by... please leave a comment if you have time.

They're briliant! And my mom wants me to make three for her to take to work, and i've had a few fathers day orders already!

The inside:
Is just a few scraps from the front, and another stamped image that i decoupaged.

For this card, i have used Dovecraft papers, CCSR stamps, string, brads, buttons and peel-offs all from stash.
I did a bit of stiching, and distressing, and in the top left hand corner, i addeda few rub-on stars.

Have a good weekend.

Green Fairy

Hi Guys,
It's such a lovely afternoon.
Yesterday i had a fab time with my nan.
She took me to Garden Land, to buy some more stash.
There was a demo with a lovely ladie called Lynda. ( sorry if i've spelt it wrong.)
I ended up buying: The latest creativity mag, ( Amanda had some of her fab cards puplished! Congrats) Three Water Brushes, ( these are just great, so much easier than a paintbrush) A silver sakura gelly roll pen, and a pack of PM fairy stamps.

So here is a very simple card. Not sure whether i'm happy with it though.

Materials:
Dovecraft Corner Rounder
PM Fairy stamp coloured with whispers and sukura silver roll pen on wings.
PM stamp: Just For You, free with magazine.
A variety of punched flowers
PM papers, brads and gems.
Scraps of K+ co paper

A Close- Up:

Well that's all from me today... no challenges!
Thankyou for all your wonderful comments, all are much appreciated.

Awards!!!

Morning all!
I was just reading some of your fabulous comments today, when i came across Irina's.
I popped over to her blog to find these amazing awards:

Thankyou so much!!!
So these are the rules:

"These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind of bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly written text into the body of their award."

I can't believe i have to pick 8. The decision is too hard.
The 8 i've chosen are:

Kim Piggot- Kims blog is a constant inspiration, and i always admire her fantastic creations.

Tab- I really love Tabs style... her cards and clever gifts are so clever, and i enjoy visiting her blog.

Liza- I have only recently found Liza's blog. But her cards are always fantastic.

Lyndsey- I know Lyndsey from my local craft shop, and she helped me create my blog. I appreciate the support. Thankyou.

Deb- Deb's cards are just fabulous. The way she takes the time to cut out and layer her images

Zoe- Zoe's my friend in blogland, and i can't believe she's only eight!! Her cards are beautiful.

Katie- Katie's 11 years old, and she's just entered blogland. Her cards just keep getting better and better.

Olivia- Olivia is 9, and like Katie she has only just started her blog.

Well, that's all eight!
I may be back for a card later, as i had a sucsessful shopping spree yesterday!!

1 Card... 3 Challenges! :O) AGAIN!!

What a lovely morning....
The sun is shining over here!
It's put me in the mood to make a bright and colourful card.
Penny Blacks Saturday Challenge is shapes, this fits in perfectly with Sketch Saturdays sketch.
I have used and rectangle with a curved top.
Don't know what shape you'd call it!
An oval and a rectangle.
And Secret Crafters Challenge is Flowers.
I love flowers, and i have used an image containing flowers and lots of flower embellies!
The papers are lots of scraps.
PM, Forever Friends, more PM... K+ Co!!
Gems, stickers and ribbon are all from stash.

A Close Up:

Hope you all have a lovely weekend... although i may be back before then.
Lots of exciting things are happening this May.
I have my Year 6 SATS starting on Monday 11th, and i'm going to Denmark with 11 of my friends and 2 teachers for a week. (17th)
I don't know if they sell any craft stash in Skandanavia.... but if they do, we'll have to sacrafice an hour or two!
Enjoy the sun!
